The Leiden International (Bio)Medical Student Conference (LIMSC), the world's largest biennial student conference, needed a streamlined system for submitting and reviewing scientific abstracts, combined with an efficient registration and payment process.

We developed an integrated solution with two main components. First, a user-friendly Abstract & Review Module where students worldwide can submit their research. Through this module, authors can create an account, upload multiple abstracts, add co-authors, and share supporting documents.

For the review committee, we created a dedicated review environment where submitted abstracts can be efficiently assessed. This enables the organization to categorize approved presentations as oral presentations, poster presentations, symposiums, or lectures.

Additionally, we implemented a complete registration and payment solution. Participants can easily purchase their e-ticket, after which they automatically receive their ticket and invoice. Following registration, they can sign up for specific presentations and view their personal program.

Accreditation and Attendance Registration

For the allocation of accreditation points, we developed a system that accurately records participant attendance, including during parallel workshop sessions.
